The Kokosing Institute works with the Data Science Society at UC Berkeley to strengthen the quantitative side of its student-led research. The partnership connects Kokosing researchers with students who have experience in data analysis, visualization, and applied data science, providing an additional source of technical feedback as projects move from survey responses to published findings.

The collaboration is especially focused on helping young researchers think more carefully about how data is cleaned, analyzed, interpreted, and communicated. Members of the Data Science Society have contributed technical guidance on Kokosing’s research methods and helped the Institute develop stronger practices around reproducibility and quantitative analysis.
